Today I'm publishing mine and teresa's story that we made up about how Tigers got their stripes.Here is my work.
Why Tigers Have Stripes.
One day a long time ago when animals talked to humans there was a golden Tiger. He was hiding behind the long grass. He was about to scare his friends but they all said “We all see your golden coat!”
Tiger walked away sad. He went to see his friend the buffalo. Buffalo told him about the human animal. He explained how much wisdom the human animal has.
Tiger wanted that wisdom. He went to the human animal to ask what to do. When human saw tiger walking near his goats he realised that he might eat them so he tied tigers body to the tree and walked his goats inside.
Tiger stayed tied to the tree and grew hungrier everyday. Soon he was so angry at the human for tying him up and so hungry that he wriggled and wriggled so hard to get free. While he was wiggling, the rope rubbed on his body and burnt his fur.
After Tiger was free he went to drink from the river he realised that he had black stripes on his beautiful golden coat. When his friends saw him they all laughed at Tigers stripes. He was so angry that he ran into the long grass. They were still laughing hard, so tiger ran out and attacked all his friends.
That is how tigers got their stripes, and why they hunt other animals and humans.
