Up and over Tens

In room 4 Taimana (my maths group)has been learning Up and over Tens. Up and over tens  Is like when someone brought 25 cakes and his mom brought some more now he has 35 how many cakes did his mom make.So 25+5=30 30+5=35 and 35 is the answer.
